R.R.A. EXAM DATES

ARRT offers the R.R.A. exam twice a year, during the second week of January and second week of July. 

You can choose to take your exam on one of four days. We recommend that you schedule your exam on the earliest date available during the exam period. That way, if there are issues (such as closure due to inclement weather), you may still be able to reschedule for a later date during the same exam administration period. Otherwise, you'll need to reschedule for the next exam in six months.

  • You’ll have to apply for the exam approximately eight weeks before the exam date.
  • Candidates may take the exam at any Pearson location. Learn more about taking the exam and what to expect on exam day.

  • July 2026: Exam must be completed between July 8-11, 2026
  • January 2027
  • July 2027
