Starting in 2018: Education - Not a Credential - Will Earn CE
It’s the learning you gain from continuing education (CE) activities - and not the new credentials you might subsequently earn - that’s important to ARRT. And that’s why we’re changing the CE requirements related to earning additional credentials.
Beginning This January: Report Ethics Violations Within 30 Days
This New Year’s Day, ARRT’s rules regarding ethics violations will change. Beginning Jan. 1, 2017, you’ll have to report any potential ethics violation within 30 days of its occurrence (or at your annual renewal, whichever comes first).

Renewals Go Online Only
When you renew your certification and registration with ARRT for next year, you’ll do it quickly and easily—online!
No More Annual Seals
ARRT has changed its rationale for issuing seals and certificates to Registered Technologists (R.T.s). In the past, we issued a certificate when you satisfied your initial requirements for certification and registration. We sent a new gold seal when you renewed your certification and registration each year. The certificate and seals indicated that your credentials were up to date.

We at ARRT are pleased to announce the first honorees in our I Am the Gold Standard program. This new honor goes to three Registered Technologists (R.T.s) who consistently demonstrate excellence in their contributions—at work and in the community.
