PostPRIMARY ELIGIBILITY PATHWAY REQUIREMENTS

The postprimary eligibility pathway is for those who are currently certified and registered with ARRT and would like to pursue an additional credential. This pathway may also be used by those who hold a credential from ARDMS or NMTCB.

  Cardiac Interventional Radiography
  Computed Tomography
  Magnetic Resonance Imaging*
  Mammography
  Sonography**
  Vascular Interventional Radiography
  Vascular Sonography


*You can earn MRI credential using the primary or postprimary eligibility pathways
**After Dec. 31, 2019, ARRT will offer only the Primary Eligibility Pathway for earning a Sonography credential. If you still want to use the Postprimary Eligibility Pathway to earn a Sonography credential before then, you’ll have to meet certain deadlines. Learn more here
