The ARRT Board of Trustees recently approved the following clarification to the CT Clinical Experience Requirements:

• Computed Tomography procedures performed for the purpose of PET or SPECT attenuation correction or radiation therapy planning cannot be used to fulfill ARRT’s clinical experience requirements.
• Any CT scanner may be used to fulfill ARRT’s clinical experience requirements. This includes PET/CT scanners, SPECT/CT scanners, and therapy planning scanners.
