I.A.(MR): An Update on Our New Credential
If you or someone you know is considering pursuing the new Imaging Assistant, Magnetic Resonance credential, you can now log in to your ARRT account (or create one) and add I.A.(MR) to your dashboard.
If you do not have an ARRT account
You can create an account here.
To set up your ARRT account, you’ll be asked to provide:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Mailing address
- Date of birth
- Social Security number
- Phone number
Once your account is created, you’ll be able to log in and view your dashboard.
If you already have an ARRT account
- Log in to your existing account
- From your dashboard, select Earn Additional Credentials (above the Renewal and CE Status box).
- Navigate to the Imaging Assistant section and click “get started”
- Complete and submit the form
This will add I.A.(MR) to your dashboard.
What you’ll see when you log in
When you access your dashboard, you’ll see messaging that explains:
- The Imaging Assistant documentation tool isn’t open yet, but you can log in now to view your ARRT dashboard.
- ARRT will share communications and timelines through your dashboard
- Once available, the documentation tool is where you’ll:
- Log clinical competencies
- Search for structured education opportunities
- Document structured education
- Submit other required information
We’ll send you an email and add a message to your dashboard when the I.A.(MR) documentation tool is ready to use. We anticipate it will be available in summer 2026.
In the meantime, you may review structured education requirements and clinical competency requirements.
