Representation By Design: Inside ARRT’s Volunteer Program
When ARRT forms a volunteer committee, representation isn't an afterthought. It's intentional.
Each committee is carefully built to include R.T.s from different regions, practice settings, career stages, and backgrounds—ensuring decisions are informed by a broad range of real-world perspectives. That means both experienced professionals and newer practitioners have a seat at the table.
This approach played an important role in developing the new Imaging Assistant, Magnetic Resonance credential. Volunteer subject matter experts from across the profession helped shape eligibility requirements, examination content, and key program decisions.
By bringing together diverse voices from the field, ARRT ensures its credentials and programs are guided by the professionals who use them every day.
