Join the Conversation: Advice Worth Passing On

Every R.T. has an experience worth sharing, and ARRT's social channels are becoming a place where professionals at every stage of their career can connect and learn from one another.

This August, we asked our social community:

"Experienced R.T.s: What's one thing you'd tell someone starting clinicals tomorrow?"

The question sparked an outpouring of practical advice, lessons learned, and words of encouragement. Responses included:

• "Be a sponge! Soak up all you can."
• "Never lose your compassion and kindness for your patients."
• “This is the time to pay attention. Ask any and all questions. And get as much experience as possible.”
• “Absorb it all. Do every exam you can get your hands on. And know that every single person you’re working with started out where you are now.”
• “Learn from as many techs as possible!
