ARRT TO CHANGE NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGY CUT SCORE IN JANUARY 2020

On Jan. 1, 2020, ARRT will begin using a new cut score for the Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) examination. Although we’ll continue to report the exam’s cut score as a scaled score of 75, the minimum number of correct items necessary to meet this passing threshold is a few points higher than it was in previous years.

NEW ARRT ID NUMBERS WILL BE SEVEN DIGITS

As ARRT approaches its 100th anniversary, the number of R.T.s and candidates for ARRT credentials continues to grow, and we’re now close to running out of six-digit identification numbers. Beginning no later than 2020, we’ll change to a seven-digit identification number for newly assigned identification numbers.

REMIND STUDENTS TO REPORT ALL FELONIES AND MISDEMEANORS TO US

We've always required students to report all felonies and misdemeanors to us. Because a growing number of jurisdictions now classify traffic tickets as misdemeanors, candidates for ARRT credentials might receive violations that they must report to us.

If your students have certain disabilities that might impair their exam performance, they can apply for accommodations under the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).
