PRIMARY ELIGIBILITY PATHWAY AUDITS ARE UNDERWAY
Upholding its commitment to education, ARRT has begun audits of educational programs and candidates completing the Primary Eligibility Pathway. The audits are not performed randomly. They occur if we have cause to believe that a candidate(s) has not met ARRT’s Education Requirements.
Audits can include review of program documentation and individual student documentation reflecting degree confirmation, and didactic and clinical requirements completion. If ARRT finds that a candidate(s) did not meet ARRT’s eligibility requirements prior to sitting for an examination, there may be repercussions for the candidate(s), program faculty, and the educational program.
It’s essential for the integrity of the medical imaging, interventional procedures, and radiation therapy professions that educational programs and future R.T.s don’t take educational shortcuts. If you have questions, please call ARRT at 651.687.0048 and press 4.
