St. Paul, Minnesota, Nov. 4, 2016 — Pride. It’s part of a day’s work for all Registered Technologists (R.T.s)—whether they see patients
or use their credentials behind the scenes. That’s why all of us at The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
are proud to celebrate National Radiologic Technology Week Nov. 7 – 11, 2016.
Most R.T.s apply their ARRT credentials to providing direct patient care. Here at ARRT, the 12 R.T.s on our staff started their careers
as patient caregivers—but today they help guide candidates and registrants through all of our processes, from initial certification and
registration until retirement. They also help develop our exams, manage our departments, and lead our Ethics Requirements staff.
We couldn’t do all that without people like Kellie Reynolds, J.D., R.T.(R)(MR)(ARRT). “I take great pride in being a part of ARRT’s staff,
combining my background as a certified and registered radiologic technologist with my experience as an attorney,” says Reynolds. “Although
I miss working directly with patients, I know that the meaningful work I do every day in ARRT’s Ethics Requirements Department has a broad
and significant impact on protecting patients.”
ARRT’s R.T.s help their 330,000 colleagues nationwide provide the best and safest patient care possible. Together, our professionals
proudly make use of their expertise to help lead ARRT—and the profession—forward.
ARRT celebrates the contributions of all R.T.s!
