We’re providing this information because it might apply to some of your students. If so, please let them know.
Prior to earning an ARRT credential using the postprimary eligibility pathway, all these things must happen:
Any activities or procedures will expire if they took place more than 24 months before the last clinical procedure is completed. Expired activities or procedures won’t count toward candidates’ requirements.
Some students begin working on a credential using the postprimary eligibility pathway while they’re still in a formal educational program preparing them for a credential in a different discipline using the primary eligibility pathway. For example, a student enrolled in a radiography program may have started to complete structured education or clinical experience requirements for Computed Tomography. If so, they should know there’s a deadline for completing their requirements.
Before students can log clinical procedures or submit structured education activities for a credential using the postprimary eligibility pathway, they must have an online account. If they have not already established an account with ARRT, they must fill out the Student Online Account Access Form. Program Directors must sign the form before students submit it to ARRT. Instructions for using the form are on Page 1.
