Some students who are already Registered Technologists (R.T.s) want to submit the courses they take for continuing education (CE) credit. For example, R.T.s studying health care administration might want to submit courses to fulfill their biennial CE requirements.

Note: if your school uses a competency-based system, we can’t accept such courses for CE credit at this time—unless your institution provides specific information explaining the conversion of competency credits (units) to academic credits (i.e., quarter credits or semester credits).
R.T.s must maintain proof of participation in their CE activities. If R.T.s are selected for CE audits, they'll have to submit a transcript to ARRT showing:
For students enrolled in an academic course to gain CE but not academic credit, acceptable documentation is a certificate of participation on institutional letterhead. The certificate must include all ARRT-designated information for such certificates. It must also state that such students met the same course requirements required of students enrolled for academic credit.
