Make sure your students understand how and when to use ARRT’s Ethics Review Preapplication. This form is only for students who have a potential ethics violation to report. And students can use it only if they won’t graduate for at least six more months.
The Ethics Review Preapplication isn’t a background check for everyone. Students should use it only if they answer yes to one or more of these questions:
Consult the form or the Primary Eligibility Pathway Handbook for specifics on when to answer yes to those questions.
Remember: If they don’t have an ethics violation to report, students shouldn’t submit the Ethics Review Preapplication.
Students can use the Ethics Review Preapplication up until six months before they graduate. If they’ll graduate within six months and they have a violation to report, they must report it on their Application for Certification and Registration instead.
