ARRT to Change Time Available to Complete CT and CI Exams 2023

As of July 1, 2023, ARRT will reduce the amount of time available to take the CT exam—from 220 to 195 minutes. We’ll also increase the amount of time available to take the Cardiac Interventional (CI) exam from 180 to 195 minutes.

ARRT regularly reviews how long candidates spend on the exam, and we increase or decrease the available time as needed. We want exams to end in a reasonable amount of time while ensuring that candidates have enough time to complete the exam if they remain focused.
